Axis Communications appoints new Key Account Manager

Global leader in network video surveillance, Axis Communications appointed, Edward Nyingeni as Key Account Manager for the Johannesburg, South Africa office.
“We are very excited to welcome Edward Nyingeni to the Axis team in South Africa. He brings with him a wealth of solution sales with his history of working on other premium brand manufactures. Edward will continue to drive our solutions partner sales and we wish him all the success” said Roy Alves, Business Development Manager at Axis Communications.
Nyingeni, who hails from the East Rand holds a National Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Wits Technikon now called “University of Johannesburg”, and selection of accreditations in the Sales & Marketing field with IMM and Unisa. He has eight years of experience in technical sales, solution selling, product management and channel management.
His role will be focusing on growing sales and supporting the Axis multi-level partners and customers’ accounts. This entails taking care of Axis’ existing selected partners, system integrators with high short and long term revenue potential, and also looking after potential accounts/partners involved in high value projects. He will also develop clear business plans for these accounts.
Nyingeni’s previous work experience includes working as a Technical Support Technician for Telecom systems at Siemens and as a product and channel manager at Sony South Africa.
