Axis announces new Distribution Account Manager for Southern Africa

Axis Communications recently announced the appointment of Manitha MacDonald as the new Distribution Account Manager for Southern Africa.
Manitha joins the Axis MEA Distribution team in this role and amongst other tasks, she will be responsible for the account management of the distributors in the market, acting as their main contact on a daily basis, as well as working with Axis’ ecosystem partners to create a solution inside the distribution network.
She comes with more than 16 years of professional experience, including working with many leading IT and Telecom companies in various capacities. Over the past 12 years, Manitha has worked with companies such as Microsoft and Cisco.
“With her in-depth knowledge of distribution, I am confident, Manitha will bring about a positive change to the Axis Distribution Landscape in Southern Africa,” says Sheetal Rao, Distribution Manger for Middle East and Africa.
Manitha joins Axis from BT Communications where she was responsible for the onboarding of channel partners, management of distribution partners and the management of strategic relationships with vendors for BT Africa.
She is currently studying a degree in Business Management from UNISA and outside of work, Manitha’s family keeps her busy, especially her two kids, aged 8 and 3.
